Oconee EMC

The Touchstone Energy Cooperatives brand represents a nationwide alliance made of more that 750 local, consumer-owned electric cooperatives in 46 states. Touchstone Energy co-ops collectively deliver power and energy solutions to more than 30 million members every day.

Electric cooperatives distribute power for 75 percent of the U.S. land mass over 2.4 million miles of powerlines. Electric cooperatives were established to provide electricity to rural America, and now make up the largest electric utility network in the nation. Touchstone Energy is the national brand identity for that network.

Natural Gas

Available in industrial quantities on both a firm and an interruptible basis, natural gas services are provided by Atlanta Gas Light Company and City of Dublin.

Water

Water – Plant capacity: 1,052,000 gal/day. Consumption: 340,000 gal/day average, 400,000 gal/day maximum. Elevated storage capacity: 35,000 gal. Source: 3 deep wells. Pumping capacity: 370 gal/min. Water and Sewer (where available) is provided by:
